Sandy Gross is an artist, educator, and entrepreneur. She is an amazing glass artist and started Brazee Street Studios – a 21,000-square-foot repurposed tool and die factory that’s now home to one of the Cincinnati area’s most vibrant creative communities. She is also the owner of Sleepy Bee Cafe, who are soon to open their third location, and Blue Manatee Children’s Bookstore.
Sandy wants to hear from Molly Wellman. I’ve already had her on the show, but I think she’s do for another appearance soon, so I will be reaching out to get that set up!
Call to Action
Trust your instincts! Don’t over analyze, just trust your gut instincts. When we look too hard at something we don’t hear what our gut is telling us and we can make mistakes, or bad decisions, or get ourselves into all kinds of trouble. That feeling inside that nudges you to do something, you gotta trust that, because that gut instinct is almost always right!
Remarkable Brand of the Week
Sandy’s remarkable brand of the week is Lululemon. It’s pretty incredible how they immerse themselves into an area and become part of the fabric of that community. They then raise the level of the community around them, and that is pretty incredible.
And here’s the Sleepy Bee logo she made from cutting out pieces of paper and laying them out until it looked right:
